OPI ‘Louvre Me, Louvre Me Not’
When I was in Paris, I made my first trip to Sephora (the enormous one on the Champs-Élysées). I am officially in love! I was in there for absolutely ages. My boyfriend got bored very quickly and just left me to it and went outside to smoke…but not before he told me that he was giving me £50 to spend on nail varnish! WAHHHH! I was in heaven! I ended up buying 4 OPIs but spent bloody ages picking which ones I wanted.
This is the first of the Sephora treats I’m reviewing on the blog. As we were in Paris, I had to get a nail varnish from the OPI French collection (which was from 2008 apparently!). I chose ‘Louvre Me, Louvre Me Not’ – I love this name! It is a royal purple creme with blue and pink very fine glitter. It goes on perfectly in 2 coats and dries really shiny, even without top coat (although these photos show the manicure with a Seche Vite topper).
LOVE. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Doesn’t it look just like a Quality Street chocolate wrapper? Oh great, now I’m craving chocolate…
