OPI ‘Gouda Gouda Two Shoes’ Nail Varnish
This beauty is actually my third polish from OPI’s 2012 Holland collection. If you want to see the other polishes I own from that range, ‘Thanks A Windmillion’ is reviewed HERE (on my old square nails which now look seriously AWFUL compared to my almond nails), and the bright and beautiful ‘A Roll In The Hague’ is reviewed HERE.
OPI ‘Gouda Gouda Two Shoes’ nail varnish dries a lot darker than it looks in the bottle: when I saw the bottle in the airport I thought it looked a like it could be a dupe for Chanel’s ‘Rose Confidentiel’ but it is actually a much darker, warm rose colour, with a beautiful coppery-gold shimmer when you see it in the sun. So even though I was disappointed to not find a dupe, I am still in love with this polish.
As with most OPI polishes, it is a two-coater and dries super quickly. I did put a coat of Seche Vite on top, as I have an addiction to that top coat! This is a really nice colour for the oncoming autumnal weather: it’s warm and pretty, and girly without being too pink. Perfect.
