Mani Monday Marble Nail Art

Mani Monday Marble Nail Art

I have wanted to do marble inspired nail art for ages and I’m pretty pleased with the results. I was just making it up as I went along so it’s definitely something I’ll revisit, I think some more detailing with darker shades will give it even more impact and make it look more realistic.

I used a white Collection polish for the base and Rimmel ‘Grey Matter‘ for the veins, topped with Seche Vite. Using a tiny brush, I picked up the smallest amount of nail varnish at a time which resulted in an almost dry-brushing effect which gave a more subtle finish to the lines. There was a lot of trial and error with this and I think I need a few more goes at it until I’m really happy.

Have you tried marble nails before? Do you have any tips for me?
