Introducing Montibello Haircare

I’d never heard of Montibello haircare before, but I am always looking for anything that will give my locks a helping hand. When I cut my long hair into a bob, I thought that it would encourage more volume and mean I would faff with it less. In reality, my hair seems even flatter and it gets greasy really quickly as I play with it ALL the time!

I’ve been trying out 3 products from the Montibello range, more details after the jump…

Montibello Haircare

Introducing Montibello Haircare

Montibello have developed the TREAT NATURTECH range: the first ever hair range based on Tricho.Nutrition Technology, which ‘intelligently transports and releases nutritional elements exactly where they are needed’. There are 9 ranges across the brand, which means any hair woes will be covered, including colour fade, dryness, frizz, fragility, scalp problems, volume and hair loss.

The first product I tried was the Montibello Balance Restore Clay* (£25.99 for 10 tubes). These are individual tubes of clay that you apply as a pre-hairwash treatment to absorb excess oil. They are designed to cleanse and purify hair, rebalance the scalp, and leave hair oil-free for longer. You apply to dry hair, all over the scalp, and then massage the product into the scalp and roots before leaving the product for 5 minutes. I am a very low-maintence girl when it comes to haircare, but these have been an easy and quick addition to slot into my regime.

The second was the Montibello Balance Restore Shampoo* (£8.99), which is the best shampoo I’ve used in ages. I love a deep cleaning shampoo as I use a lot of dry shampoo and texturising products, so sometimes regular shampoos struggle to truly clean my hair. This leaves my hair (*cliché alert*) squeaky clean and really manageable. I’ve actually been going without conditioner recently, and my hair still feels soft and looks shiny. Which shows that haircare can be deep cleansing without being stripping.

The last product I’ve been trying out is the Montibello Discipline Smooth Shape Treatment Serum* (£10). This caught my eye as it not only smoothes the hair and reduces frizz but also offers heat protection (something that I always forget! Oops…). It’s a clear, gel serum with a bit of an oily feeling so I only use half a pump and concentrate on the ends of my hair to avoid overloading my roots.

Do any of these Montibello haircare products catch your eye? These are available in salons nationwide, you can find your local stockists by calling Profile Hair & Skin Care on 01264 334 466 or check the website HERE.
