Benefit are one of those brands that combine fantastic products with some of the most jaw-droppingly beautiful packaging out there. I know that it’s superficial to be won over by the way something looks but just take a look at the Benefit Cheekathon* palette…
Benefit Cheekathon Palette
I am a terrible packer. I find it impossible to limit myself and end up taking far too much, and make up is one of my downfalls. So palettes like this that combine 5 products in one are a lifesaver for me (and the fact that it is ridiculously beautiful is a happy bonus!)
The Benefit Cheekathon palette contains 5 powders, that are all full size, and a flat wide brush (that I probably won’t use as I prefer specific brushes for each part of my make up routine). The packaging is a sturdy but not heavy box, and the lid contains a big mirror and closes with magnets so it’s not going to come open and get messy in your make up bag.
The colours are shown swatched below, from left to right: Dallas, Dandelion, Hoola, CORALista, Rockateur.
Close ups shown below:
Dallas – A sunset plum bronzer. This is brushed from the hairline near your cheekbones and down your cheeks.
Dandelion – Baby pink brightening powder. This is dusted all over the face to lift the complexion and give a lovely radiance.
Hoola – Bronzing powder. Applied to chin, cheeks and forehead to give a believable sun-kissed glow.
More close ups:
(Hoola, as described above)
CORALista – A coral-pink blush. Dot this into the centre of your cheeks for a bright and summery pop of colour. The gold shift in this powder is so stinking pretty!
Rockateur – A rose gold highlight/blush. Dust this stunning powder over your cheekbones to give your finished look a bit of sparkle.
I am seriously impressed with this palette. I can tell it’s going to be a summery favourite and will hopefully help me bring my pale face into the summer spirit.
It is a House of Fraser exclusive so you can get it HERE.
