I’m really enjoying putting together these ‘5 Best…’ blog posts. I love trying new skincare and finding things that my skin not only tolerates, but truly loves. And if you find something that’s a total bargain as well, that’s just the icing on the cake! I’d love to hear your recommendations, so once you’ve read about my picks of the 5 best budget face masks for sensitive skin, please leave a comment with your faves below! I love trying your recommendations and I hope you all find new favourites in the posts and comments.

I have spoken about Avène skincare so many time so you should all know by now that I have loved their products for years. The Avène Antirougeurs Calm Soothing Repair Mask is wonderfully soothing and makes the skin feel calm and hydrated. You can find it on HERE.

A similar product to the above is the Avène Tolérance Extrême Mask* which is perfect, even for the most reactive skin types. It has a fancy patented lid that stops air, dirt and pollutants getting into the product which means that it remains sterile and doesn’t need to be jam-packed full of preservatives which can be very irritating to those with sensitive skin. It’s a lovely light mask that I will re-buy forever. You can buy it HERE.

What is it about the French and their skincare? They seem to just understand sensitive skin and cater to it so well. The La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Intense Masque is a great mask for when your skin feels tight and harassed and has rescued my unhappy skin on so many flights. You can find it HERE.

If you read my last post in the ‘5 Best...’ series, you would have seen me rave about the Formula Exfoliating Face Scrub. This skincare range from Marks & Spencer has really impressed me and the Formula Moisture Charge Mask* is no different. It’s a wonderful addition to your skincare routine and the most affordable mask in my edit at £6 (!). You can get it from the Marks & Spencer site HERE.

I have never seen Cattier products on sale in the UK – I bought the Cattier Pink Clay Mask in Paris and absolutely love it. It’s a very simple but effective clay mask that is wonderful for clearing congestion and oiliness in the t-zone. I don’t apply it to my cheeks or forehead (e.g. where my rosacea is focused) as it’s drying and can make my skin a little bit sensitive in those areas, but elsewhere it’s absolutely fine. It’s tricky to find in the UK but it’s on Amazon.

And that’s it – my 5 best budget face masks for sensitive skin. You can find the previous posts in this series linked below. Don’t forget to let me know your favourite face masks for sensitive skin in the comments below – bonus points if they’re under £10!
