I’ve set this week’s Friday Faves post to go live automatically as I am currently holidaying in the South of France. I’m so fancy… no, I’m not really. The reason I had to schedule it is because my parents live in the middle of flipping nowhere and their internet goes down ALL the time and it’s like visiting people who live in caves. So if you comment below (please do, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy) I’m not ignoring you, I’m just having enforced no-screen time.
I’m not sure that recommending a new podcast every week is sustainable but I’m still in full-on obsessive mode. I’m definitely making up for lost time! This week’s podcast addiction is ‘Thinking Sideways‘ – this is a really interesting podcast where they tackle unsolved cases in each episode. Disappearances, aliens, epidemics, conspiracy theories… they cover them all. It’s a really easy listen although I desperately want answers to all of the mysteries!
This week we finally watched Moana. I have no idea why we didn’t see it at the cinema but I wish we had. This is probably my favourite Disney film of all time. BIG CLAIMS. It’s so pretty, the music is incredible (I will be singing ‘How Far I’ll Go’ for the rest of time), the story is wonderful, I LOVE that it doesn’t revolve around a love story – it’s just a girl being independent and brave and clever. You have to watch it, I can’t tell you how great it is.
The last item in my Friday Faves is the Models Own Sweet Dreams* palette. The lovely folks at Models Own saw my #UnwearableLex series on Instagram and sent me a box of amazing bright make up which is so flipping exciting. I’ve really been enjoying using the Sweet Dreams palette as it’s full of pretty, pastel colours that are so perfect for spring, with a mix of shimmers and mattes. The pigmentation is great, as is the lasting power. Love, love, love!
What are your Friday Faves? Please leave me a comment below letting me know, I love your recommendations!
