Sephora Haul 2017: French Edition

I’ve recently been to visit my parents in France. And you should all know that if I’m in France it’s inevitable that I’m going to go beauty shopping. Yep, it’s time for the Sephora Haul 2017: French Edition and you may be surprised to see a lot more skincare here than usual. Don’t forget to leave me your favourite Sephora products in the comments, I’m always working on a wishlist!

Sephora and Kiko French beauty haul (Sephora Haul 2017)

Let’s start with Sephora as that’s the stuff I was most excited by. I was so pleased to see that the range of Sephora Cream Lip Stains had been slightly extended, so you’ll be shocked to hear that I picked up three grey-toned purples… I think I have a problem! You can see one in action HERE. You can look at the whole range here. I definitely need to make a video or extensive blog post about these cream lip stains, because they are flipping amazing and I have so many now. I really want the pastel blue and green though…

I also picked up two of the Sephora own nail varnishes (which I mentioned in this blog post are potentially being discontinued): Bikini Party – the bright turquoise – and ‘Trick Or Treat’, a gorgeous hot orange.

And everything else from Sephora was skincare. They’ve really made an effort recently to expand their own brand range of skincare and I’m going to be testing some of it out in April so keep your eyes peeled for my Skincare Shake Up at the end of the month. I picked up the following:

  • Sephora Collection Supreme Cleansing Oil – You all know that I love a cleansing oil!
  • Sephora Collection Sleeping Masks – I got the avocado (hydration for sensitive skin) and the rose one (plumping and radiance-enhancing).
  • Sephora Collection Micellar Cleansing Water & Milk – I got the Coconut one as it’s supposed to be ultra-soothing.
  • Sephora Collection Cleansing & Exfoliating Cleansing Cream – The charcoal one caught my eye for it’s detoxifying and purifying benefits.
  • Sephora Collection Instant Moisturiser+ Cream
  • Sephora Collection Soothing Cleansing Milk (which I can’t find online)
  • Sephora Collection Make Up Remover Micellar Gel (not online either)

Most of these were travel size products that I found in the Mini-Checkout-Of-Doom area. I love that they offer tester size skincare products so I don’t have to waste a fortune on the full-size, just in case my sensitive skin hates it!

In one of the many shopping trips I took with my mum, we went to a shop called Nocibé which I’d never heard of before but was full of lovely bits and pieces from their own brand, as well as huge and well-known named brands. My inner magpie was drawn to the Top Coat Camèlèons: domed highlighter creams with the most amazing duochrome shine. They can be used as a traditional highlighter, or over eyeshadow or lipstick… anywhere you want a pretty glow. I chose this one that changes from gold to pink in the light. I can’t wait to play with this!

Next up are my Kiko goodies. You can easily get Kiko in the UK but for some reason in France they are always having ridiculous sales so I tend pick up a few bits and pieces. The most exciting is the below Kiko Cream Crush Lasting Eyeshadow in ‘Pearly Violet’ which is so beautiful. I think I’m going to use this as an eyeliner so keep your eyes peeled for that.

I also picked up a Kiko Intense Colour Long Lasting Eyeliner in ‘Metallic Night Blue’ (which I thought would make a niece alternative to black eyeliner in a smokey eye) and a beautiful Kiko Velvet Passion Matte lipstick in ‘Fuchsia’ (a bubblegum pink). And lastly I chose two nail varnishes. I really like Kiko’s polishes and these were on offer so I got some lovely spring-appropriate shades: Kiko Power Pro Nail Lacquer in ‘Emerald’ and ‘Iris’.

My Sephora haul 2017 was pretty reserved I think! I flipping love Sephora and Kiko and I really don’t need any enabling, but please do leave me your recommendations in the comments below. I love discovering new products whenever I wander the black and white aisles.
