The Urban Decay Naked Heat palette has been one of the biggest beauty releases of 2017 and I am leading the charge on that bandwagon. When I first heard the news of an upcoming Naked palette I wasn’t overly excited as I have more than enough nude-toned palettes… but then I saw the teaser photos with all those glorious warm-toned shades and I knew I was done for.
Before we get into the make up looks, please join me in gazing adoringly at the beauty that is the Urban Decay Naked Heat* palette. I’ve see a lot of very filtered pictures online that make this palette look a lot lighter and more neutral, whereas in reality I think it’s actually a fairly intense collection of shades.
I’ve been using this palette almost constantly since I received it and I am still just as in love with it. The shadows are so pigmented that there’s barely a dent in any of the shades, even the most used ones. They blend incredibly easily so you don’t have to worry about ease of use. I cannot recommend this palette enough! Today I’ve put together three make up looks using the Urban Decay Naked Heat palette to show you how versatile it can be. If you have green/blue eyes then warm-toned eye make up is so flattering, honestly you will never look back once you’ve tried it! LOOK ONE: A Hint Of Peach
I tend to go OTT on the orange-copper eye make up as it’s my favourite look, but I know that some people prefer a more natural look so here is my most reserved eye make up choice! I covered the lid in ‘Ounce’ and ‘Chaser’ mixed together, used ‘Sauced’ in the crease, added a bit more dimension to the crease with ‘Low Blow’ and also ran some under the eye. I think this is a very subtle look, one that you could easily wear at work, school, or just on a day when you don’t want anything too fussy.
LOOK TWO: Copper Pop
This is my go-to eye make up look. It makes me feel confident and put together and I could probably do it in my sleep! I followed the same steps as above but then built up the colour in the crease of, and under, my eye using ‘He Devil’ and ‘Cayenne’, then covered the lid in the beautiful shimmery ‘Lumbre’.
LOOK THREE: Warm Smoke
I very rarely do such a dramatic eye look, I tend to put the focus on bold lipstick choices, but I really like this smokey eye. I followed the same steps as above but built the colour up in the crease and outer third of my eyelid using ‘En Fuego’ and ‘Ashes’ to give a beautiful red/purple dimension. I ran a damp smudging brush covered in ‘Ashes’ under my eyes. Then finally I covered the inner two thirds of my eyelid in ‘Scorched’. A bit of black eyeliner on the water line and tons of volumising mascara finished the look and added even more drama.

I wasn’t sure about this palette as pale people and orange aren’t usually a good look (those over edited insta pics don’t help) but these looks are reassuring me that I could buy this palette and actually use it.
That last look alone is enough to make me want this palette so badly now!! Beautiful

That was kind of the point! To show a very subtle look, a medium intensity look, and then a dramatic look. A lot of people might just want a soft wash of colour to bring out the colours in their eyes so this shows it’s possible, with what is actually quite a dark and intense palette. No need to be scared
