Hi, thanks for the question!
I use regular tape, but I stick it to the palm of my hand a few times so that it takes off the really sticky glue - this means it won’t peel your base coat off but will still be sticky enough to give you the crisp line.
Also, remove the tape when the polish is still slightly wet as it gives a better line and as you pull the tape off try to pull it slightly towards the polish you just painted, that way if some polish does drag it wont spoil your perfect line.
Hope that helps, have fun!

More custom nails! I love old school tattoos so I really enjoyed doing these nails.

Another example of my bespoke nails. A lady wanted the Radiohead bears on two sets of nails. These are the most intricate nails I’ve ever done and they were pretty difficult but I’m very happy with how they came out.

Another example of the custom-made nails I am now selling through Facebook (www.facebook.com/TalontedLex).
These were for my friend Mel and were inspired by Christopher Kane’s RTW Fall 2010 collection: super sexy leather with over-the-top pretty florals embroidered on top.
I love the matte vs shiny contrast and think these are one of my favourite manicures ever.

I have started doing bespoke nail art on acrylics. These were a set of galaxies for a lovely lady who plays piano, so I had to make them teeny! I adore doing galaxies, they are so calming.

I LOVE VALENTINE’S DAY!!
I wanted to get some ideas together for Valentine’s day manicures in case anyone wanted to buy some nails and came up with these. I love them all and now can’t decide what to do on my own nails!
Hope you like them. If you’re UK based and would like to order some Vday nails (or any other nails) let me know here: www.facebook.com/talontedlex
