Another month, another Skincare Shake Up! I think skincare is one of my favourite things to talk about, I love discovering new products and get really excited knowing I can share them with you. Some of you may have noticed that there was no Skincare Shake Up post last month. I ended up extending my holiday in France at the last minute and by the time I got back into London I had missed the beginning of the month change over. I didn’t want to try out products for less than a month because I like to give things a proper test, so I just started my new skincare routine when I got home and tried it out for half of July and all of August instead. And here is that routine in full…

We’re halfway through the year and I’m not entirely sure how that’s happened. But a new month means a new Skincare Shake Up – here is my full skincare routine for June, including some new goodies that I think you need to know about along with some favourites you may have heard of already.

April has been a strange month for me and my skin. I probably hit every single one of my triggers: Stress? Check! (appearing on TV with no make up on: absolutely terrifying) Warm weather? Check! Cold weather? Check! (seriously, spring, get it together) Indulged in too much alcohol? Oh, that’s a big check. So the products featuring in this Skincare Shake Up April 17 edition really had their work cut out for them!

A few weeks ago I posted about my finding skincare favourites challenge with Boots UK (read it HERE). In that post I gave a little introduction to my skin and its issues – primarily rosacea and therefore ridiculously sensitive skin – and also showed you the products I would be trying out. I’ve been doing this challenge for about three weeks now, but many of these products are trusted skincare favourites of mine, ones that crop up in so many of my recommendations and ‘favourites’ posts, so you could say this is a bit of a skincare ‘dream team’!

Some people love wandering around the shoe section in Selfridges. Some are happiest in Paperchase (which I *totally* get, that place is dreamy). For me, I could waste hours in Boots. Whether it’s in person – swatching make up all the way up my arm – or online where I repeatedly fill my online basket full of my skincare wishlist after doing hours of research on all the new releases. The return of the 3 for 2 deal means you can find your skincare favourite with Boots UK – come and see what I’m trying out this month!
