Glo & Ray are fast becoming one of my favourites brands and it baffles me that they are not better known… but I think that may change. They have some seriously great products, some of which you can see in my previous reviews HERE and HERE.

I have already done a nail art blog post featuring 2 of the GOSH SS15 collection nail varnishes, but wanted to show you some other exciting bits from the collection that I was sent this week. I don’t think I’d tried any GOSH make up products before so I was very intrigued to give them a go.

March was a good and a bad month. It started to get a bit lighter and my make up reflects that which is always exciting. We got back from Japan in the middle of February and my skin has a complete breakdown. March was the month of sorting my skin out so it was happy again.

Have a nosey at my most used and most loved products in March…

August Away We Go Birchbox

August Away We Go Birchbox

This month’s Birchbox is a summery special which feels a bit out of place with the bloody awful weather we’ve been having in London: it is so cold I’ve considered putting the heating on. IN AUGUST. However, this box is aimed at those lucky people who are heading away on their holidays. I’ve already been away this summer on my honeymoon, but who doesn’t love a mini beauty product?! No one, that’s who.

MUA Undress Me Too

MUA Undress Me Too

A few weeks ago I reviewed the MUA ‘Ever After’ Matte Palette and spoke of my love for it. I think I mentioned the palette I’m reviewing today in it without realising that I hadn’t spoken about it on the blog yet. Useless.

So…this is the Undress Me Too palette! Obviously a bit of a rip off of the famous Urban Decay ‘Naked’ Palette but who doesn’t love a bit of a dupe? I don’t own the Urban Decay palette do can’t do a comparison but there are tons online if you want to see it!

I think actually prefer this to the Undress Me original palette by MUA, which a friend kindly gifted to me when she didn’t want it. I haven’t reviewed it yet as it has hardly been used since I bought Undress Me Too (which says a lot!), but I will get something up soon so you can see the difference.

Right. Down to business… The Undress Me Too palette is a lovely combination of matte and glittery shadows. They are all neutral themed and, as a result, are very flattering. As with most palettes they can be used together to create multi-toned eye looks. My most used colours are Naked (top left), Exposed (bottom row second from left) and Reveal (bottom row third from left). All are lovely and subtle but still catch the eye. Since taking these pictures I’ve actually hit the pan on Naked which is annoying as it’s the perfect base colour for shadow!

The shadows themselves are very pigmented and really stay put on the eyes. I do use my Too Faced eyelid primer with them but if you don’t have issues with oily eyelids then you probably won’t need to, although I do find that the glittery ones tend to transfer a bit.

I would say this is my go-to, standard eyeshadow palette at the moment, whether I want a subtle look to open my eyes, or a more glamorous smokey eye. If you haven’t tried MUA eyeshadows I would definitely recommend them! They are £4 (!!) HERE.

Which of the MUA palettes have you got? What do you think? Let me know in the comments at the bottom of the page!

MUA Matte Palette Review

MUA Matte Palette Review

I was so excited when I saw this MUA palette in my local Superdrug as I had been searching all over for it. When I first looked I thought that it was sold out but I sneaked a peek in the secret drawers under the displays (SA’s do NOT like you doing this by the way, so you have to be quick!) and there was 1 left – hooray!

As soon as I saw pictures of this online I knew I needed it. I love their Undressed palettes (dupes of the Naked Urban Decay ones) so I know their quality is really good for the price. I’m definitely a matte eyeshadow girl, I just think they’re so much more flattering than shimmery ones. And this one has some seriously lovely colours.

I’ve been wearing combinations of the top line neutrals to work and they are perfect: subtle but still pretty. At the weekend I decided to do a smokey eye for no reason other than testing this palette out! I used Truffle, Smoke and Taffeta. They are really easy to blend and last very well even without an eyelid primer.

Oh and the last photo was me getting bored of my face after taking so many photos to try to capture the smokey eye. I decided to keep it in as it made me laugh. Does anyone else get bloopers like this? I get really bored of capturing serious photos… I always feel a bit silly. More bloopers I say!

You should hunt this palette down if you can, it’s selling out all over and I can see why! And the best part of this? It is FOUR. POUNDS. Yep. You heard me. Four English pounds. You can get it HERE.

Have you tried any of MUA’s palettes?
