I meet a lot of bloggers just through going to events and spending so much time online. But it’s rare to find someone who you get on with as a person as well as having blogging in common. Mikhila is one of those people, so when she came down to London for 2 days I knew we had to do some filming together. And here’s the video: Introducing 3INA – the newest beauty brand on the block.
This month is Superdrug’s Health and Beauty Card’s 5th birthday and to celebrate they have put on some incredible offers for card holders. They challenged me to find the best deals to show you so here is my Superdrug Revlon haul!
My second part of my US beauty haul from New York is now live. This covers drugstore items from Walgreens, CVS, Duane Reade as well as other bits from Chinatown, Victoria’s Secrets and Bath & Body Works. I did so much research before I went to find the best things to buy, but ended up grabbing lots of things that caught me eye as well. So many treats!
My first video in this series was a Sephora haul which you can find HERE. SO many amazing products that I’ve been dreaming about owning for months (if not years!)
Let me know your US beauty recommendations in the comments, as I’m already building my list for next time!
I recorded the first part of my New York beauty haul and the first video up is…Sephora!

It’s finally here! All of the goodies I got in Japan. I’ve had to break it down into three posts, as you can see I got quite a lot of stuff! This first post will cover all the make up as that makes up the bulk of the haul. There are a lot of photos so are you sitting comfortably? Do you have a drink to hand, some biscuits perhaps? Then let us begin!
My long-suffering fiancé went to Japan recently and obviously I could not pass up the chance to give him a huge list of things I wanted him to get me! He did an amazing job and got most of the things on the list (and some extras). I’m going to be doing reviews of the individual items once I’ve had chance to try them all out but here is a list of everything he got.
Dolly Wink liquid eyeliner
K-Palette eyebrow pen (I actually asked for eyeliner but I am SO PLEASED he got this wrong as I am IN LOVE with this eyebrow pen!)
Fiberwig LX mascara by DJV Beautenizer
Visee lash upswing long mascara
Heroine Make mascara long & curl
Shiseido Perfect Whip Foam Cleanser
Shiseido Anessa Perfect UV spf50
DHC cleansing oil
Hada Labo Goku-jyun Light Lotion
Kanebo kracie moisturising extra rich face mask
Dariya Black soy milk face mask
Mandom beauty barrier repair hyaluronic acid face mask
Kose cosmeport clear turn white Q10 face mask box
Kanebo kracie lotion face mask box
Kose cosmeport clear turn hyaluronic essence face mask box
Hello Kitty socks (yes)
Harry Potter wand chopsticks (YES)
KitKat green tea flavour (OH MY GOD)
He did so well! Especially considering I gave him a list and he speaks no Japanese! I am desperate to go to Japan and have a feeling I would go even more crazy on beauty items. (EDIT: I went to Japan in Feb 2015 and you can see my hauls here Part 1 and here Part 2)
Everything I’ve tried so far has been wonderful. I’m a bit scared to use some of it because I don’t want it to run out! (please tell me I’m not the only one who does this?)
Do you have any recommendations? I want to have a list prepared for my Japan trip!
Those who’ve followed me for a while will know that my parents live in France which means I take every opportunity to stock up on French beauty products. I posted my last big haul HERE if you want to see what I already have.
I didn’t have a chance to go over to France before Christmas because of work, but my dad kindly said he would pick some things up for me. He ended up traipsing round 8 pharmacies on his day off and roping countless shop assistants to help him. He’s so cute. I am so glad I stocked up on the essentials (Bioderma and LRP stuff) and also asked him to get some additional things for a small giveaway when I reach my first Bloglovin milestone…!)
The pictures above show what he picked up for me:
La Roche Posay Serozinc – I bought this in my last haul, and this time I asked my dad to get me 3 (including one for my friend Jen). You can find my review of Serozinc HERE. They were about €5 each.
Bioderma Micellar water – this is a given when you’re anywhere near a pharmacy in France. There’s a review HERE. I got three 500ml bottles for about €8 each.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo – This anti-blemish cream has been on my wish list for ages as it is raved about by so many people. This was about €9.
Caudalie Huile Divine – A dry oil spray that smells incredible. It was roughly €20.
Darphin Intral Redness Relief Recovery Balm – I need to do a proper review of this product as I LOVE it. It is wonderful and smells amazing. This was the only item that wasn’t that much cheaper in France, at about €40, but I love it so much that I don’t mind.
Embroyolisse Hydra-Masque – the Embroyolisse moisturiser I got in my last haul is so good that I needed the mask as well, I haven’t tried this yet so I might give it a go tonight. This was €10.
La Roche Posay Redermic R Eye cream – I have tried so many eye creams and this one is my current favourite. This was €20.
I am so happy with my haul. My dad did an excellent job and I’m so grateful that he wasted his day off to wander round pharmacies in Toulouse!
What French products do you swear by? Any you would recommend for my next haul?
