LA Colors Electra CNP511

LA Colors Electra CNP511

If you do a search on my blog for LA Colors nail varnishes you will not be disappointed. These are polishes I found in beauty wholesalers like Pak’s for 99p. I tried them on the off chance that they might be good for nail art but soon found out that they were actually really neat little polishes! Great colours, smooth application and shiny finish.

This is a bright neon magenta polish that’s quite sheer built to a good, squishy finish in 2 coats with no white undies. The brush was really good, which is surprising for a cheap polish, and it was quick drying.

If you spot these polishes anywhere I really recommend getting them – especially their neon range.

You can look at the whole LA Colors range HERE.

The super lovely @FabFingertips1 sent me this beautiful polish as nail mail and I swatched it ages ago but completely forgot to take photos. So here it is, finally! LA Colours Magnetic Force NP415 is a coral pink creme polish with a gorgeously summery gold shimmer when it catches the light. LA Colour polishes are very affordable (I think they’re about £1 in the places near me which is ridiculous).

This polish is perfect in two coats. If you can get your hands on some LA Colours, I really recommend them. You can see the full range on their website HERE.

This was another of the polishes bought for me by my lovely friend Gemma for doing her manicure.

It is a gorgeous jade green and applies beautifully. I only have one other polish by LA Colours which is the black I use all the time. They are pretty cheap polishes but go on so well, dry fast and are pretty opaque. This mani only needed two coats which is better than I expected for the price. The only negative point is that it doesn’t last too well: chips and lifting after 24 hours, even with top coat.

The above picture shows the true colour better than the first one. It’s a lovely blue-green jade, rather than the rich green it appears as under artificial light (as in the first picture).

Love this colour so much, pretty enough to keep me interested whilst still being a fairly ‘conservative’ manicure!

Not so happy with the fact my thumb looks like a massive sausage there! I look like I’ve had some kind of hideous allergic reaction to something and I’m swelling! Never a good look… Note to self: your thumbs apparently have good and bad angles.
