If you saw my review of the Bomb Cosmetics ‘Little Hotties’ wax melts you will know about my obsession with home scents. I am a total convert to wax melts and I had seen the Flamingo Candle ‘The Melt Crowd’ subscription box on a few blogs and was immediately smitten with the idea. I took one look at the scent list and was practically throwing money at the screen!
This weekend I had a rummage through my nail art box and remembered these little gold metal squares and knew I had to do something with them. And here are the results…
I was lucky enough to go to the essie pop-up nail bar in Debenhams on Oxford Street last week for a manicure (you can see what I had done HERE). On my way out I was handed a bag that contained the full essie Summer 2015 collection. Cue lots of squealing!
This is such a great collection, really strong with a wide range of colours that include some classics and some unusual additions. So let’s have a peek…
I bought 3 of the Sally Hansen nail art pens in New York (if you want to have a nosey at the other goodies I got you can watch my haul videos HERE and HERE). Although I wanted every single pen that they stocked, I was very reserved and picked the pens I thought I would use the most: white, black and red. I am an impatient soul and I wanted to try them out straight away, so this is my first foray into some simple nail art using them.
I have been looking for wax melts for a while, as people I follow on Instagram that are based in the US are always posting pictures of the amazing ones they buys. So when I stumbled across Bomb Cosmetics I was already fully prepared to develop an obsession.
Mineral foundation is something that has been on my radar for a while. It’s supposed to be ideal for atypical and sensitive skin as it’s lightweight, non-comedogenic and (apparently) you can even sleep in it which proves the lack of nasties in it. I had tried a L’Oréal Paris True Match minerals powder foundation before and liked the coverage but it contained talc which I think started to aggravate my skin after a while. So when I heard about The English Mineral Makeup Company I was pretty excited.
I recorded the first part of my New York beauty haul and the first video up is…Sephora!

I have already done a nail art blog post featuring 2 of the GOSH SS15 collection nail varnishes, but wanted to show you some other exciting bits from the collection that I was sent this week. I don’t think I’d tried any GOSH make up products before so I was very intrigued to give them a go.
