If you’ve watched the hype about the GLAMGLOW face masks* from afar and always wondered what they were like then this review should be of interest. I was given the whole range of masks to try on my ridiculously picky and sensitive skin, so keep reading to hear my GLAMGLOW face mask review.

I’ve been lucky enough to review quite a lot of facials, treatments and salons and each one is very different. Some are super relaxing, some are all business, some facialists are completely silent, focusing on the task at hand, while others talk you through the treatment and put you at ease through their demeanour. My recent Environ Hydroboost Facial was a lovely combination of all of the above.

When I first started this blog I was petrified of facials. In fact, just scared of anyone touching my face. I worked so hard to learn my skin’s likes and dislikes, knew exactly how to cleanse it, apply products, what to use while minimising aggravation and avoiding flare ups. The idea of letting a stranger play around with my face for an hour while I ‘relaxed’ was laughable. But in the past year or so I’ve had some incredible facials that have proved to me that you just need to do your research and find treatments that suit you and practitioners who will understand your fears. I had been to the Premier Laser Clinic before (for THIS treatment) but was excited to try the Vitamin C Peel*.

Last month was Rosacea Awareness Month and the folks at Buzzfeed asked me to write an article about living with rosacea which you can read HERE. It went viral and has currently had over 550,000 views and so many people got in touch with me to share their stories of rosacea and many of them had questions. A recurring question was asking for recommendations for sunscreens for rosacea sensitive skin. I try to wear factor 50 any time that I’m in the sun but it is hard to find sunscreens that don’t smother or aggravate rosacea or reactive skin. So here are my top 7 favourite sunscreens for rosacea sensitive skin!

Vichy Dermablend Foundation

Vichy Dermablend Foundation

Whenever I mention to people that I like my foundation to be high coverage, there is one name that always pops up: Vichy Dermablend* foundation. I have been keen to try this product for a while – I am a big fan of Vichy skincare as it’s very gentle on my sensitive skin, so I had high hopes for their make up range. I was given this at an event a few months ago and I’m kicking myself that I didn’t try it out before now!

I have filmed a first impressions video so that you can see how well the foundation covers redness and so you can hear my initial thoughts on the texture, formula and application. There are also some bloopers at the end of the video if you fancy something to cheer you up!
