If you’ve followed me for a while, you will know that I try out a lot of skincare: I have a few staple products that I rely on and return to when my rosacea is flaring up, but I am essentially a fickle person. I always wonder what else out there and am constantly searching for the next product to introduce to the skincare hall of fame. So I’m going to start doing a Skincare Shake Up post, roughly every month.

Sukin Skincare For Sensitive Skin RosaceaReview

I’ve been testing quite a lot of skincare recently. In August I tried the B. Skincare range, and before that I was testing out Burt’s Bees Sensitive Skin Range. Every time I try a new skincare routine I have The Fear that it is going to make my rosacea flare up and leave me with raw, angry, bright red skin. However, I’ve been really lucky to try so many great ranges, and this  Sukin skincare is another to add to the list.

I feel quite proud of myself when I manage to finish a product. I have so many products on the go that it’s a small miracle that I ever finish anything! Some of these have been waiting for a mini review for a while but let’s dive into the empty product bag and see what I thought.

Last month was Global Rosacea Awareness Month and I wrote a few blogs about my diagnosis, the lifestyle changes that help me control and manage my skin and a very personal blog about why I wear make up. The penultimate and final blogs in the mini-series are possibly the most requested blog for me: the products I use to treat my skin and the make-up I use to cover my rosacea. Here are my tips on skincare and learning to work around rosacea. Warning: this is a long one. Get a cup of (lukewarm) tea and some biscuits and settle down…

April is Global Awareness Month for rosacea and I’ve been doing some blog posts to share my story and give some advice that I wish I had been given when I was in the early stages. You can read my blog on my diagnosis HERE, read about lifestyle changes I made to manage my flare ups HERE. I have also written about the skincare that helps me to keep everything under control. But first I wanted to talk about why I wear make up, covering the psychological aspects of rosacea and how these form an (often overlooked) part of the disease.

March was a good and a bad month. It started to get a bit lighter and my make up reflects that which is always exciting. We got back from Japan in the middle of February and my skin has a complete breakdown. March was the month of sorting my skin out so it was happy again.

Have a nosey at my most used and most loved products in March…
