All That Jazz All Eyes On Me

Today I have another polish from the All That Jazz ‘Spotlight Affair’ collecction. This is a beautifully plush muted fushcia that was very easy to apply. You can see my previous review of another polish from the collection HERE.

Gelish Polish Bella’s Vampire

After my training session at the Nail Harmony UK studios I was asked if I’d be interested in reviewing some of the Gelish polishes and I jumped at the chance. I’d only had 2 gel manicures in my life and had never tried it myself (apart from at my day of training) so was really intrigued to see if I could do it without messing it up!

For my reviews, I decided to pick Gelish colours that would be ideal choices for a person who was wanting to invest in their own gel manicure set. I wanted to look for the colours that everyone would get use out of: neutrals, corals for summer, pastels for spring, a classic red, a vampy dark colours and of course some glitters.

This is the first Gelish colour I chose to review: Bella’s Vampire, a dark aubergine shade. I love dark vampy shades, even though some people think you can’t wear dark colours on long nails (pfft I say. PFFT).

All That Jazz Be Fierce

This beautiful polish is from the All That Jazz ‘Spotlight Affair’ collection. As soon as I laid my eyes on this collection I was won over. These are gorgeous, classic shades that I know I will get loads of wear from.

An Evening With Burt’s Bees

I have a confession, this post should have gone out before Christmas but it failed to upload and I didn’t notice as I took some time off from the internet due to the loss of a family member. So I apologise for the oddly festive detailing in this blog post… just ignore it. Or pretend that you’re being really organised and planning for next Christmas!

An Evening With Burt's Bees

An Evening With Burt’s Bees

The lovely ladies from Burt’s Bees asked me to come along to their shop in Soho for an evening of champagne, mince pies and beauty products. That’s pretty much an ideal evening in my book!

Meg from Lips So Facto was there talking to us about her favourite pieces from the Burt’s Bees range. If you don’t already follow her blog you can take a look at her thoughts on the Burt’s Bees lip products range HERE.

The gift boxes are adorable, just look at how cute they are! These are perfect for presents for friends, family and those people you inevitably have to buy for who you don’t really know!

Their lip products are all moisturising and caring for lips (which is a godsend in this cold weather) but are also super pretty – tinted shiny glosses, balms, glossy soft balm pencils and pigmented smooth glosses.

I didn’t even realise that Burt’s Bees did a mother and baby range, but it is all very sweet. And it would be a relief to know that it’s all natural and safe for both.

I couldn’t resist these lip balms as I ADORE my coconut and pear one, so I got some a presents for my sisters and mum. The chocolate and blueberry one in particular went down very well!

Have you tried any Burt’s Bees products? What is your favourite?
