H&M ‘Beauty Bandit’ and ‘Wanna Pepperoni’ Nail Varnish

Did you know that H&M did nail varnish? Me neither. I tried them out for you. I know, I know I’m so selfless. So here’s the H&M ‘Beauty Bandit’ and ‘Wanna Pepperoni’ Nail Varnish review, live and in your eyeballs.

I had never tried H&M polishes before (I didn’t even know they existed) so when my boyfriend pointed out a wall of them when we were in the store at the weekend, I was pretty excited. I bought three bottles to try and here are two of them.

The first is called ‘Beauty Bandit’ and it’s a vibrant purple creme polish that is fully opaque in two thin coats.

The second is called ‘Wanna Pepperoni?’ (I have no idea why a green nail varnish would be named after meat! Ideas on a postcard please!) and is a gorgeous yellow-olive creme, which also gives full coverage in two coats.

I was really surprised at how much these polishes impressed me: the colours are so strong and the finish is really good. The only criticism I have is the smell – they have a really strong chemical smell that is quite overpowering. But, if you can get past that, I highly recommend these polishes. And for £2.99, you can’t really complain!

Jan ‘2016 EDIT: It looks like H&M have stopped doing their nail varnishes, however their nail care range looks pretty good. You can find it HERE.
