No7 Nail Care Range

I have a bit of an obsession with nail varnish (I know that may be new and shocking information) but without proper nail care, there’s no point in spending money and time on beautiful nail varnishes and manicures.

No7 Nail Care Range

The basis of a good manicure is good nails and that can only be achieved by looking after your nails. Nail care may seem like a faff and not entirely necessary but once you start it soon becomes routine and it really does make the difference.

The No7 nail care range is a great and affordable way to take care of your talons, and I was sent the range to show you. Let’s have a nosey…

No7 Nail Care Range

No7 have a great range of nail care, from hand cream to top coat and everything in between. They are all good sized bottles and are very affordable, plus you can pick them up in Boots. And as an extra bonus, selected No7 products are on ‘buy one get the 2nd half price’ at the moment, so you can get these for a real bargain price!

The first one I wanted to show you is the No7 Cuticle Oil (£8). I use cuticle oil at least once a day and I would say that it’s the product that makes the biggest change to nails. It stops your cuticles getting rough and messy, keeps the skin around your nails soft and also conditions your nails and stops them becoming brittle. I paint this around the edges and under my nails and then rub in.

Next is the No7 Ridge Filling Base (£8) – I have a few different base coats in rotation and all have different results. This one has been a godsend recently as I managed to take small chunks out of 2 of my nails with a razor (*insert retching noise*). I don’t know how ridge filling base coats work but I assume it’s magic. One thin coat of this underneath nail varnish and you wouldn’t even know the chunks were missing out of my nails. I also used this on my mum who has quite ridged nails naturally and it worked fantastically. Magic. It’s the only possible explanation.

The No7 Strength & Growth Treatment (£8) was very intriguing to me. My nails are very important to me, not least because I’m useless without my talons! So keeping them strong and long is obviously key. I haven’t been using this for long enough to know if it’s making a difference but anything that aims to make soft or brittle nails more durable gets a thumbs up from me. The website instructions says “Apply on to clean, bare nails twice a week and massage in. Wash and dry hands before applying nail colour.” (Remember to leave a while between washing your hands and painting your nails so that the water has time to evaporate from your nails otherwise you’ll end up with bubbles.)

And finally, the No7 Nail Cleanse and Prime (£8). Another intriguing product that caught my eye. I’ve not seen anything like this before, but it has become a new addition to my nail care routine. This product is designed to condition nails, remove staining and prime nails ready for base coat and nail varnish.

Overall this is really strong nail care range and one that I think people can easily pick and choose from depending on their needs. Do you think you’ll be picking any of these products up?
