Glo and Ray Sky Breaker Eyeliner Collection

Now that spring is finally here, I have found myself being drawn to wearing more colour on my face. So when these limited edition Skybreaker eyeliner pencils from Glo & Ray arrived on my desk I was pretty excited. This set contains 6 eyeliners and a pencil sharpener to ensure they stay sharp and ready to use.

The first pencil is ‘Rosy Candy’, a pink shade that looks a lot scarier than it is! I was uncertain at first (I had awful visions of people at work thinking I had myxomatosis or that I’d been crying in the toilets) but once I put it on, it grew on me very quickly. It’s definitely an unusual eye colour and not one for you if you’re after a natural look, but I think it actually looks very pretty. Also, the packaging… the ombre fade? Just gorgeous.

The other eyeliner colours are a bit more traditional: Midnight Black ‘300′, Champagne Pink ‘302′, Orchid ‘306′, Summer Sky ‘307′ and Forest Green ‘308′.

This kit has all your colour essentials for any look you want to achieve:

The black is just a classic and requires no description really! The rose gold liner is super pretty and looks great in the inner corners of your eyes to widen and make you look really awake. The purple is very flattering and makes my green-blue eyes really pop, as you can see from the picture above it has some sparkle to it but not enough that you look like a discoball so it’s still work appropriate.

The dark green has been another favourite of mine as it is a different option if you usually go for black – it’s still dark and classic but gives a bit of colour to your eyes and looks really beautiful.

The blue is DIVINE. I have been wearing it a lot this month, it’s so bright and eye-catching, I can’t explain how much I love it.

All of these eyeliners are opaque in one swipe and feel really creamy as you apply them so they don’t drag across your eyelid. I was quite surprised when I first tried them as usually with creamy eyeliners they end up smudging or transferring onto your brow bone throughout the day, but these stay put. I had to use an oily make up remover to get them off as they are that long-lasting!

So, to recap: amazing colours, super pretty packaging, a dream to apply and great longevity. You need them. The set is £28 which I think is great value as it works out to less than £5 per eyeliner, plus a free sharpener. You can buy it here. Which is your favourite shade? Would you wear pink eyeliner?
