I am a total convert to wax melts and I had seen the Flamingo Candle ‘The Melt Crowd’ subscription box on a few blogs and was immediately smitten with the idea. If you read my blog regularly, you’ll know that I have a soft spot for subscription boxes: who doesn’t love receiving post?
This is a monthly subscription box from the amazing Flamingo candles who are famous for their delicious scents and pretty candle designs. They launched last month and this is what you receive: a box containing 8 individually wrapped, hand-poured, soy wax melts. Each wax melt is described as lasting about 30 hours (although we’ve had one on the go for about that and it’s still going strong!). And the fragrances… my god. In July’s box I received: Raspberry & Salted Caramel; Cucumber & Melon; Mojito; Green Tomato Leaf (exclusive the the Melt Box); Lemon Curd; Oriental Lotus & Rose Otto; Pink Lemonade; and Island Breeze (also exclusive to the Melt Box). Don’t they sound incredible?
You could smell the contents through the box when it arrived on my desk at work – all of my colleagues were peering round trying to work out what the amazing smell was! It comes in a slim box that will fit through most people’s post boxes as well, so no trekking to the post office at the weekend.
