If you’ve seen this post about my dermatologist appointment and resulting skin changes, you’ll know that the final straw before seeing Dr Justine Kluk was the spread of my perioral dermatitis. I’ve always had issues with my eyes due to ocular rosacea (you can read more about that HERE) but the changes became unbearable.
My neck is currently in spasm so this blog post may be a little more brief than my usual Friday Faves, but I have some amazing bits and pieces that I wanted to chat to you about. In related news, would it be weird to include Deep Freeze Cold Patches in my weekly favourites…? Asking for a friend.
It only feels like a few days since I posted last month’s Skincare Shake Up, but here we are! This month I’ve been battling rosacea flare ups, cold weather, central heating, and a boatload of stress so I’ve been paying extra attention to my skin. In this month’s post, there are some familiar faces below along with some new additions, I hope you enjoy reading about my current skincare routine.
When I started my blog (on Tumblr, about 7 years ago!) I focused on nails, partly because I loved a good manicure but more importantly because a blog filled with nails meant that I never had to show my face. I have rosacea, a skin condition that currently has no cure, and it makes me so self-conscious that even now it’s a struggle to take and publish photos. This is my rosacea story, in collaboration with Eau Thermale Avène.
