A few weeks ago I reviewed The Ordinary Serum Foundation (you can watch that review HERE) and as soon as that review went live, lots of people asked me to also review The Ordinary Coverage Foundation as well*. Ask and you shall receive!
As mentioned in my previous review, The Ordinary (owned by DECIEM) are probably the stand out skincare brand of the past few years. A combination of very affordable prices and high potency ingredients resulted in a lot of buzz. I’ve reviewed quite a few bits from their skincare ranges, so when I heard they were bringing out foundations I was very excited. As I have rosacea, I was immediately drawn to the Coverage foundation as I’m always looking for something that will cover my redness without irritating my skin. However, I was absolutely amazed at how much I liked the Serum foundation – I won’t repeat myself as I say it all in the other review, but from the amount I liked it, I was even more excited to try The Ordinary Coverage foundation.
You can read more about The Ordinary Coverage foundation HERE. It is slightly – and I meant slightly! – more expensive than the Serum version (£5.90 rather than £5.75… that’s not a typo!) and I’m shade 1.1P in both foundations.
I filmed a short video showing how the foundation applies, how well it covers my rosacea redness, and talk about how it feels on the skin. I also do a direct comparison with the Serum foundation, so if you’re torn on which one to go for this video will help.
PRODUCTS USED: The Ordinary Coverage foundation, Beauty Blender sponge, The Ordinary Serum foundation.
I hope you liked this video. Have you tried The Ordinary Coverage foundation, or the Serum version? What were your thoughts? Are there any foundations you would like to see me review? Let me know in the comments below! Be the first to see my new YouTube videos by subscribing HERE.
