Another polish from the Lac Attack ‘Magical Musings’ collection. This is definitely one of the prettiest in the set – a milky sheer base with bright blue circles, tiny blue specks, large white square and small gold speck glitter. I love polish like this as it’s a jelly sandwich in a bottle!

This is two coats with no base colour and Seche Vite on top.

Lac Attack The Horcrux Of It

When I heard about the Lac Attack ‘Magical Musings’ collection and pored over the pre-launch swatches online, this was the polish I was most excited about. I was absolutely gutted when my first bottle was faulty but I got in contact with Ana and she was brilliant. Immediately apologetic and really helpful. She replaced the bottle and even sent me another bottle from the collection as an apology. Perfect and professional customer service makes me so happy!

Anyway! Back to this stunning polish. Lac Attach The Horcrux Of It is a sheer black base with a shed load of glitter: small green, small copper and large green hex. This is one coat over Rimmel’s ‘Black Cab’. Because there’s so much glitter packed in, I did do two coats of Seche Vite over the top to smooth it all out.

You can see my reviews of the other Lac Attack ‘Magical Musings’ polishes here: Weasley’s Wizard WheezesDementia’s KissBeauxbaton Academy, and Hogwarts.

This collection sold out in 20 minutes (Harry Potter and nail polish fans are a powerful combination!) so is sadly not available anymore. But you can find Lac Attack’s other beautiful polishes HERE.

Here is another swatch from the incredible Lac Attack’s ‘Magical Musings’ collection. All of these polishes are so beautiful and this one is no exception.

It’s a clear base with an absolute butt load of multi-coloured, multi-sized glitter. This only needed two coats for this level of coverage and it didn’t need any glitter placement which is rare. I love how the glitter looks in the above picture, layered glitter is so satisfying for me, I don’t know why!

I think this may have replaced OPI’s ‘Rainbow Connection’ as my go-to glitterbomb. BIG claim!

This collection is sadly no longer available *sob* – it sold out in 20 minutes on launch night! But you can find the full Lac Attack range on Harlow&Co HERE.

If you want to see the other polishes I picked up from this collection, have a nosey here: The Horcrux Of ItWeasley’s Wizard Wheezes, and Dementor’s Kiss.

Barry M Textured Effects Kingsland Road

Textured nails are huge at the moment and you can always rely on Barry M to bring out an affordable, high quality version of the top trends.

This is no exception. Barry M has released matte finish polishes with a grainy finish. It looks so unique and feels oddly nice – I couldn’t stop touching it when I had it on. It is less rough than it looks and doesn’t catch on things like I thought it would.

The polishes in this range all have names of places in London where Barry himself used to hang out. This one is called Kingsland Road which was the road I lived on when I first moved to London – I knew I had to get it from the moment I saw it.

As a huge fan of the textured nail trend, I have to say bravo, Barry M!

You can find my review of another of the Barry M Textured Effects polishes HERE.

MUA Furry Nail Art With Flocking Powder

I have wanted to try these new flocking powders ever since I saw them and I wasn’t disappointed. I know it won’t be to everyone’s taste but I love it!

The polish is one of the new ones from my holiday haul – Kinetics ‘Violet Up’ (KP197). This is a bright fuchsia jelly-like polish, and the photos show three coats with Seche Vite.

To apply the fluff, you tip some into the lid of the pot, dip the wet nail into the fluff and carefully pat down. Et voila! Fluffy fun nails!

I don’t think MUA make this flocking powder anymore but you can get a similar product HERE.
