This weekend the weather was absolutely glorious. It finally felt like it was the start of summer. And to honour that, I decided to do some fruity watermelon nail art. I hated this manicure until the moment I put top coat on and then I fell in love with it! (Does anyone else do this? All of my manicures are hideous until the very last second when they come together!)
I received this lovely looking polish at the Debenhams SS15 beauty event last week and was so excited to use it. I love Nails Inc polishes and had heard good things about their Gel Effect range. So I thought I’d do a little bit of gold leaf nail art!
Sometimes you just need a bit of sparkle and this nail varnish collection from All That Jazz has it in spades.
I just love the description of this collection, taken from the All That Jazz website: “Relish in riches with this latest treasure-trove-inspired collection from All That Jazz. From the jewel inspired emerald and ruby, to the glittering metallics of gold and bronze, feel luxuriously spoiled by these 4 new tempting shades and adorn your talons with the opulence they deserve!”
The description is perfect as these colours are the perfect jewel-toned, luxurious shades. I’m not usually drawn to this type of formula but the colours are too pretty to resist. I am especially drawn to that rose gold *all the heart eye emojis*
Today I have another polish from the All That Jazz ‘Spotlight Affair’ collecction. This is a beautifully plush muted fushcia that was very easy to apply. You can see my previous review of another polish from the collection HERE.
I have a bit of an obsession with nail varnish (I know that may be new and shocking information) but without proper nail care, there’s no point in spending money and time on beautiful nail varnishes and manicures.
