For the past 3 weeks I’ve been in the south of France and I was really restrained when it came to choosing the make up I would take. I brought so many books (plus all of the stuff I needed for blogging) that my suitcase space was seriously limited. So here are my summer make up staples – the products I’ve worn pretty much every day and have loved.
I do love a good YouTube challenge and the most recent one I’ve seen is the ‘Throwback Make Up’ tag. YouTubers are recreating the make up they used to wear in school and the results are hilarious. So I decided to get involved… take a look at my throwback make up video below!

If you follow my blog you will know that I am a huge fan of full coverage make up. My rosacea redness makes me very self-conscious and I feel more like myself when I know I can apply a full face of make up. But I know that not everyone can (or wants to) wear a lot of make up. Natural Collection have been a Boots staple for as long as I have been interested in make up and I think a lot of people overlook them because of their price point: us Brits are very suspicious of something cheap as we think it must be too good to be true.
