Skincare Shake Up: June 2018 Edition

I typically post one Skincare Shake Up post a month to show you what I’m using and what has made the cut, but some of you have noticed that I skipped May. I had been trying a few new products and wanted to give them a little bit of time because summer weather and rosacea are not a fun combination at the best of times, but adding in unknown products? Potentially disastrous! So both of the skincare routines below have been in place for two months.

Skincare Shake Up: March ’18 Edition

I am never fully satisfied with my skincare routine. I am a total hussy when it comes to new products, always wondering if THE product that will transform my skin is just around the corner. I like to find affordable versions of high end products, I like to find independent brands who fill their skincare with as much love as they do science, and I also try to find things that suit all pockets and preferences. Every month when I select new products to try, I get really excited and I always look forward to telling you about them. So I’m pleased to present last month’s Skincare Shake Up featuring a few old favourites, new additions, and some exciting brand-new launches.

Repurchased Japanese Beauty Products

At the beginning of the year we spent three weeks in Japan and it was flipping glorious. I have so many blog posts planned to share my tips and experiences but the most pressing for me was the ones focusing on beauty… mainly because I can’t use the products until I’ve photographed them! So let’s kick off proceedings with a post all about my repurchased Japanese beauty products.

Skincare Shake Up: January ’18 Edition

I was in two minds about doing a Skincare Shake Up for January. For most of the month I was in Japan, which means that I was relying on products that I’d already used. If you have sensitive or awkward skin, you will know that a holiday can cause all sorts of issues with your skin: flights, change in diet, the water (hard water is the devil!), disrupted sleep, temperature changes… it all adds up. So when I travel, I tend to stick with what I know.

In this month’s post, there are some familiar faces below along with some new additions, I hope you enjoy reading about my current skincare routine.
