Products To Soothe Sensitive Eyes and Seborrheic Dermatitis

If you’ve seen this post about my dermatologist appointment and resulting skin changes, you’ll know that the final straw before seeing Dr Justine Kluk was the spread of my sebhorreic dermatitis. I’ve always had issues with my eyes due to ocular rosacea (you can read more about that HERE) but the changes became unbearable.

Internet Inspired Beauty (AKA ‘the internet made me do it!’)

I’ve stepped back from blogging recently and, in doing so, I’ve been looking at blogging, influencers, and the beauty community in a slightly different way. I looked through my ‘stash’ and I thought it might be interesting to do a post on all of the products that I was 100% influenced by after seeing them all over the internet. Working in beauty and surrounding myself with bloggers meant that I was often overwhelmed by new launches, new formulas, new brands… and sometimes I would get swept up in that. So here are the products the internet ‘made’ me get and whether I would actually recommend them.

Skincare Shake Up: January ’18 Edition

I was in two minds about doing a Skincare Shake Up for January. For most of the month I was in Japan, which means that I was relying on products that I’d already used. If you have sensitive or awkward skin, you will know that a holiday can cause all sorts of issues with your skin: flights, change in diet, the water (hard water is the devil!), disrupted sleep, temperature changes… it all adds up. So when I travel, I tend to stick with what I know.

Rosacea And Long Haul Flights: Tips and Tricks

In the past month I’ve spent over 24 hours on board an aeroplane. Typically I would dread flights – firstly because I hate, hate, hate flying and spend the whole time convinced we’re all going to die… but secondly because my skin always kicks off after a flight. However, that all changed this time and a lot of people on instagram asked me to share my tips on how to deal with rosacea and long haul flights. Ask and you shall receive!
