If you’ve followed me for a while, you will know that I try out a lot of skincare: I have a few staple products that I rely on and return to when my rosacea is flaring up, but I am essentially a fickle person. I always wonder what else out there and am constantly searching for the next product to introduce to the skincare hall of fame. So I’m going to start doing a Skincare Shake Up post, roughly every month.
I am incredibly lazy with my hair. I thought that when I cut it into a bob I would be inspired to blow dry it, style it… do *anything* with it. But no: I rough-dry it, straighten my fringe and leave the rest to fend for itself.
With this in mind, the concept of blow dry bars is music to my ears. They’ve been around in the US for ages and they’re finally getting bigger over here, much to my joy. The concept is simple: you pop in, have your hair washed and styled and you’re good to go. Such a great idea if you have a night out or busy weekend or just want to treat yourself.
I have been waiting for this range to come to the UK for about a year. I’ve been lusting over it ever since US bloggers started posting previews and it’s finally here!
Although I spend a lot of time and money on my skincare and make up, my hair is a totally different story. I put off washing it for as long as possible (too much faff), do the bare minimum to keep it looking vaguely presentable and get it cut when I really can’t put it off for any longer. I always forget to use heat protector spray when straightening and it’s currently 3 different colours (my natural roots, a brassy blonde in the mid lengths and quite blonde at the ends). In short it is a mess. Or was…
November! Unbelievable! This month has been a very busy and stressful one with work, so my blogging has taken a bit of a back seat but you’ll be happy to hear that I’ve still been keeping track of my favourite beauty and lifestyle products this month.
