A very exciting phrase I never thought I would say coming up… tomorrow I will be talking at Vogue House. I will be doing two talks as part of the Beauty Without Boundaries pop up: a partnership with Vogue, Feel Unique and Pinterest to celebrate the Vogue Beauty Awards. Pinterest has asked me to talk about my rosacea and how I use ‘unusual’ beauty to give me confidence – a topic I could talk about until the cows come home. They may need to drag me off-stage to shut me up…!
It’s time to continue my Flawless Base series, and in today’s post we’re really getting down to the nitty-gritty: foundations and application methods (plus some cleaning tips). This is the post I’ve most looked forward to in this series, as foundation is the make up item that is truly transformative for me due to my rosacea. After I put on my foundation, I feel happier and more like myself as it takes me to the base point from which everyone else is starting.
Today’s instalment of my Rosacea Review series is the new L’Oréal Paris Age Perfect Foundation. If you have followed my blog for a while you’ll know that their True Match foundation is one of my go-to, can’t-fail, recommend-to-everyone foundations. So how did their newest release compare?
Well this is awkward isn’t it… I appear to have missed a few weeks. But that was kind of the point of moving to Friday Faves as opposed to ‘monthly faves’: if I missed a monthly favourites post it felt like a big deal (to me anyway, I doubt anyone else noticed!) whereas there’s less pressure in weekly faves. It’s not that I’ve not been trying products I love, or finding things I wanted to tell you about. I’ve just been super busy and having a bit of a wobble with my blog. But I’m back and to make it up to you, I’ll do a bumper Friday Faves! Hooray!
