An early Nail Art Sunday for our long weekend away!

The second installment in Nail Art Sunday is in honour of the new series of one of my new favourite TV shows: Breaking Bad.
There’s not much to say about these: it’s a green base with the green smoke of the intro and the chemical symbols on the first two nails – all hand painted, of course.
The green base shade is A-england Dragon (full review HERE) and the smoke shades are by Barry M. The white used for the chemical symbols was my trusty Natural Collections white.
Enjoy the new series, yo!

P.S. Please excuse the awful state of my skin and cuticles, I was suffering from ridiculously dry hands at this point and nothing would save them!

I thought I would celebrate my return to nail art with a bang! I have got out of the habit of doing nail art and I actually missed it a lot as I find it really calming. So I decided to start a regular day on my blog to force me into doing nail art more often.
I asked Aaron what he’d like me to do for the first Nail Art Sunday and he immediately said Game of Thrones (our current TV series obsession) so here we go!
The nails are, from thumb to little finger: House Stark; House Lannister; House Baratheon; House Targaryen; and House Tyrell.
I hope you like them, I really enjoyed creating them. I’m a bit rusty with the detailing so please forgive any messy bits!

After someone on the internet pinched a photo of my nail art and did their own tutorial for it, I thought I would do some of my own! *shakes fist at stupid internet photo stealers*
Leopard print is my go-to nail art when I have no time or am feeling totally uninspired. These photos are pretty self-explanatory but here are a few steps so you can recreate this at home:
And you’re done! Let me know what other tutorials you would like to see from me?
(Also please ignore the blurriness of that photo, I don’t know what happened there…!)

I haven’t done a French manicure in years. This look was really big for a while and I ‘wore’ them quite a lot back then but – and this is probably nail art sacrilege – I’m not a big fan. I occasionally like them on other people if they are done well – but so many that are see are painted on badly-made, shovel-like acrylics and it has kind of ruined them for me. STRONG FEELINGS, GUYS.
So I decided to try to change it up, to make it a bit different, a bit more ‘me’… and I love it! It has a kind of 80s vibe to it, probably because of the shape of the nails. It’s a classic reimagined into something unusual and fun.
The nail polishes I used for this manicure are pretty generic, but the Kiko white I used is great as it’s designed for French manicures, so has a really thin brush that’s almost like a striping brush. It made doing the cleans lines on this really easy. I highly recommend if you’re a French mani fan (and if you are, I hope I haven’t offended you!)
What are your thoughts on this updated French manicure?
