Gabrini 363 Nail Varnish

Today’s swatch is the excitingly-named Gabrini 363 nail varnish (I HATE polishes with no names… it just seems like such a missed opportunity for fun!)

So apparently Pantone’s colour of the year for 2013 is Emerald which is wonderful news as green is my all time favourite colour. And this nail varnish definitely fits the emerald bill. This is a lovely dark green shimmer polish that has a beautiful glow in the light. This makes me feel quite Christmassy!

This is two coats of Gabrini 363 nail varnish topped with my usual Seche Vite.

You can find Gabrini’s full range HERE, although for some reason that website says that number 363 is a red polish… perhaps they’ve changed the names since I bought this! Worth bearing in mind before ordering though.

Inglot 954 Nail Varnish

I cannot stop staring at this nail varnish. Just LOOK at it! Inglot 954 nail varnish is a very pretty acid green creme polish with a very subtle bright green shimmer that gives it depth. If this isn’t summer in a bottle I don’t know what is!

 

This had really good coverage, you could probably get away with one clever coat but this is two coat topped with my trusty Seche Vite.

I guess I really should have expected it from the polish name but HOLY MOLY this is bright. There are no filters or effects on these pictures, that is actually how bright it is! It is actually hurting my eyes a bit to look at that picture.

This is the second nail polish from my recent Kiko haul, a stunningly bright yellow creme. This is an orangey yellow with a really subtle gold shimmer running through it when you look at it in direct sunlight. This is three coats to cover all bald patches, and (of course) a Seche Vite top coat.
