This week has felt so long so I’m very happy to be writing my Friday Faves! The weather may be utterly miserable but I’m in a fantastic mood as my skin is finally looking a little better after this week’s flare up (more on that here) and later today I’m heading out for Hayley’s hen do with Jane and Kirsty which should be a lot of fun: gossiping, talking beauty, and putting the world to rights over afternoon tea and cocktails. Some of you may have noticed that there was no Skincare Shake Up post last month. I ended up extending my holiday in France at the last minute and by the time I got back into London I had missed the beginning of the month change over. I didn’t want to try out products for less than a month because I like to give things a proper test, so I just started my new skincare routine when I got home and tried it out for half of July and all of August instead. For the past 3 weeks I’ve been in the south of France and I was really restrained when it came to choosing the make up I would take.
