This month has been a tricky one for my skin. It got *really* cold in London and every time I leave the house my rosacea instantly kicks off! Add this to the fact that I think the person living below me is running a sauna from their living room (it’s the only possible explanation for the heat emanating through our floorboards…) my skin doesn’t know whether it’s coming or going. The muted nail trend is one of my absolute favourites – I’m a huge fan of anything grey-toned and am always looking for nail varnish that puts a different spin on the typically season-appropriate colours. Spring is usually when people unpack their pastels, maybe a few brights, perhaps some nudes. So I’ve picked some beautiful Morgan Taylor polishes that are unusual takes on the more traditional colours.
I have finally returned to YouTube! It’s been four months since my last video which has flown by. YouTube was starting to erode my self-confidence (seeing your face in HD is not great for your self-esteem!) and I wanted to take a little break to think about the types of videos I wanted to make and where I fitted in within the YouTube community. I think I’m going to focus on my #RosaceaReview videos and make up looks rather than the chatty videos, they feel less pressured in some way. This week has absolutely flown by and I’m not really ready for the weekend. I’m going away on holiday next week and still have so much work to do. Send help! Like many people, I absolutely love a good mask. I remember being in my very early teens and buying Mountagne Jeunesse face masks with my pocket money and feeling so grown up (…just me?)
