OPI Which Is Witch Review – Oz the Great and Powerful collection
This is another polish from the ‘Oz the Great and Powerful’ collection. I’m not usually drawn to bar glitter, as I’ve mentioned before, but this is very pretty.
‘Which Is Witch’ is a clear base with holographic bars, medium hexs and tiny glitter. It applies very well and not much placement is needed to ensure even application. You’ll be very happy to hear that the glitter doesn’t curl (unlike the shambles that is ‘When Monkey’s Fly’), so the finish is lovely and smooth.
I truly love this polish: look how shiny it is! This catches the light in such a beautiful way.
This polish was applied over a base of Kiko ‘275 Black’ and I applied it at the base of the nail and slowly pulled the glitter up the nail to make a subtle gradient effect. It was then topped with Seche Vite.
A england Dragon Review
Another polish from the beautiful a-england ‘The Legend’ collection. This one is a glorious emerald green that, depending on the light, has a blue or gold tint and a true holographic shimmer running through it. This is one of those polishes that just has you staring at your nails all day.
Just like the other polishes in this collection, this could have been a one-coater but I am a creature of habit and did two coats anyway. It was then topped with Seche Vite, although it’s super shiny and sparkley without.
‘The Legend’ collection is sadly no longer available, but you can get Adina’s stunning nail polishes HERE.
GOSH 549 Holographic Hero
I have been searching for this polish forever. It is like the nail blogging community’s version of a unicorn. So when I found it in Superdrug I did a little squeak… and then bought two bottles, just in case!
OPI ‘My Private Jet’ Nail Varnish
This is the third beauty from my Paris Sephora mini haul: the infamous OPI ‘My Private Jet’ nail varnish. Look at that sparkle!
Nfu Oh 61 Nail Varnish
I have rambled before about how much I love Nfu-oh nail varnishes. They do beautiful flakies and holo polishes that amaze me every time I look at my nails. So I couldn’t wait to get my paws on #61, their silver based holo polish. I have seen so many swatches of it…and I couldn’t be more disappointed.
I have since read some reviews that say that the newest batch of polishes have been altered when it comes to the formula. They must have because the polish I received was nothing like the swatches I’ve seen.
It looks plain silver in most lights, these pictures actually make it look more holographic than it does in person. Whenever I looked at it, it just made me sad. Although I did feel slightly like Lady Deathstrike from X-Men, so that was fun.
TL;DR – I don’t like this nail varnish. Nfu-oh, why have you forsaken me?! /drama
EDIT: The weird line across the nail on the tip of my little finger? Where this nail varnish chipped after 24 hours. With Seche Vite on. This nail varnish was a huge disappointment all round! Booo!
