Spring Bubble Nail Art From Essie

Today’s manicure was partly inspired by bubbles and partly by confetti. I love it! I used all essie nail varnishes (apart from the Seche Vite topcoat, of course). Keep reading for all the details of this spring bubble nail art.

To start, I used a base of ‘blanc’ to give a pure white canvas for the nail art. I then dipped a dotting tool in each colour, one by one, spacing out the dots and overlaying them. I think choosing a palette of colours that are from the same theme (e.g. blues/purples or pinks/reds or greens/yellows) and mixture of sheer and creme polishes gives a really lovely textured effect.

The colours I used are L-R: ‘brides no grooms’ (from the essie 2015 bridal collection), ‘splash of grenadine’, ‘check-up’, ‘we’re in it together’, and ‘tart deco’. Click on the names to buy these polishes (sadly some are no longer available in the UK).

I’m really enjoying doing mani monday again! Let me know if there are any manicures you would like me to do. I’m thinking about doing more tutorials as step by steps so I’d love to hear what you’d like to see.
