I have a pretty extensive nail varnish collection but one thing I’d never tried was colour-changing polish. The lovely Laura from Madam Glam got in touch with me and asked if I’d like to try some of their gels and regular polishes – exciting!
Madam Glam Chameleon Colour Changing Gel Polish
Madam Glam are a New York-based company who also offer make up, but their nail varnishes are where it gets really interesting. All of their polish is cruelty-free, and the regular nail varnish is also 5-free. The above polish is one of the Madam Glam Chameleon Colour Changing Gel Polishes in ‘My Boo’. It’s really pretty bright blue when you are warm and a beautiful royal purple when cold. This took 3 coats to get the blue to full opacity.
The other Chameleon Colour-Changing Gel Polish is called ‘Sunshine’. It’s a super bright yellow polish that changes to a summery orange when you’re cold. I only did 2 coats and you can still see quite an obvious nail line, so maybe 3 would have been better.
I can’t believe I’ve never tried heat-activated nail polish before, it is so fun! I loved watching it change in front of my eyes and it was a real talking point at work where everyone was amazed. I put some videos on Instagram of the polish in action if you’d like to see them. I’ll put the links here when they’re live: VIDEO 1 and VIDEO 2.
The lovely folks at Madam Glam have set up an exclusive discount code for my readers. If you’d like to try their products, go HERE and enter ‘talo30’ at the checkout.
They also do ‘regular’ nail varnish and I picked some lovely colours and finishes. The first is ‘Summer Nights’ an almost neon orange creme polish that is quite thick so only needs two coats I also really love these bottles, they’re not like anything else I’ve got in my collection.
?The final polish I tried is a matte gold glitter which I LOVE. This was 2 coats and it’s very easy to apply, not draggy or lumpy at all. It’s made up of tiny, medium and large gold glitter so the finish is very eye-catching and pretty.
What do you think to Madam Glam polishes? Any of them take your fancy?
