I recorded my next #RosaceaReview and this time it’s another high street offering: Maybelline Dream Velvet foundation.
Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation
This is described as a velvet gel-whipped texture with a medium coverage. Have a nosey at my YouTube video below to find out how well it covered my rosacea redness. All details on the other make up I was wearing can be found by clicking through to the YouTube video – they can be found in the description box.
If you enjoy the video, please subscribe and give me a thumbs up. I’m still pretty small fry on YouTube but actually really enjoying it. If you have a favourite foundation you’d like to recommend or one you’ve been tempted by but are worried about its coverage or longevity, leave me a comment here or find me on Twitter (@TalontedLex) and let me know!
You can purchase the Maybelline Dream Velvet foundation HERE.

Hi my name is Sarah and I have a 14 year old doughter that is suffering with rosacea On her nose .
We have just found you after seeing you on face to face .
Anna currently uses estee louder double wear .
She removes her make up with a baby wipe then rinses with water then uses proscribed Rosex on dry area’s then forever living propolis face cream, in the morning she does the same .
She uses her fingers to apply estee lauder to nose then beauty blender to apply clinque conceler foundation on rest of face and maybelline waterproof powder all over .
We would be very gratefull to hear from you .
We will subscribe and watch all of your previous video’s.
So glad we have found you so Anna can benefit from all your knowledge, as she suffers from depression and anxiety and its difficult to find someone to understand her feelings about her skin .
Thank you Sarah xxx

Hi Sarah, thank you for your comment. I would say that wipes are not great for those with sensitive skin (or any wipes to be honest) as they will have lots of preservatives and some contain alcohol and fragrance. In order to get rid of dead skin, oil, pollution and dirt I would advise a ‘proper’ cleanse using a flannel and a gel/cream/oil cleanser if your daughter can handle that. I would really recommend the Avene range in this post: https://talontedlex.co.uk/2016/09/26/avene-tolerance-extreme-review/. It’s so gentle and calming on the skin. Any time Anna wants to email me I’d be happy to chat to her, even if she just wants to chat or rant! x
