I am trying my best to take more outfit photos but it’s a lot harder than those fashion bloggers make out! You have to perfect the nonchalant, wistful look off into the distance and what the hell do you do with your hands? Peril at every turn. But here is what I’ve been wearing recently…
Let’s start with the bad news. I’m so sorry but the amazing Zara bomber jacket is sold out. I KNOW. I got it in the sale for £19.99 (Am I making it worse?) and get so many comments on it whenever I wear it so I’m thrilled. I’ve never owned a bomber jacket before but this has opened the flood gates and now I can’t stop lusting over more.

Annoyingly the red River Island top is sold out in most sizes BUT I think it’s still available in a few. It has been such a favourite of mine recently as it’s so flattering and easy to wear. The ruffle is exactly the same at the front and back so it’s *almost* like a cape. Whenever I wear it I feel like the embodiment of the flamenco lady emoji and who doesn’t need some emoji sass in their life?
Topshop Jamie jeans are my go-to, never-fail jeans. The fit is amazing: high-waisted without giving you a weird tummy bulge, cut to the perfect level on the ankle, stretchy but not so much that they go baggy on the knees. Just perfect. I’ve got the plain black jeans for when I need to be vaguely smart or want the focus elsewhere and the ripped version for when I feel more casual.
I wore the above outfit for our anniversary meal out (we went to The Wolseley which was AWFUL. Don’t go!) and felt flipping wonderful. I have stopped fighting my love for all black outfits. I do love bright colours but just feel so chic and put together in black. When ‘cold-shoulder’ tops and dresses first became a thing I didn’t get them but they are another new love of mine. You don’t panic you’re going to flash everyone like you do with a strapless top and they give a bit of subtle skin-flashing sexiness without being too revealing. The thumbnail in the grid below shows the top in more of its glory, but in the pic above I was getting stared at by tourists so I just wanted to take the photo and leave!
All items shown in this ‘what I’ve been wearing’ post are linked in the grid below so you can purchase or have a nosey. I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing what I’ve been wearing recently, are you tempted by anything?
Enjoy your day, I’m off to practice my poses…

I instantly tried to find that bomber jacket in Canada and I can get it … In size medium only. I’m not a medium! For those of you that are, it’s an awesome price and it’s in the last chance section so hurry. http://www.zara.com/ca/en/woman/sale/outerwear/printed-bomber-jacket-c437584p3428008.html
