In today’s post I’m really excited to introduce the Morgan Taylor Rocketman Collection. Beautiful polishes, each as bold and bright as the man himself, immortalised in the recent film…
In case you haven’t seen the new Rocketman film (based on Elton John’s rise to fame) you can watch the brilliant trailer below:
The last collection I reviewed from Morgan Taylor was a nude, neutral focused range, so this was a lovely bright surprise. I’ve swatched every shade in the range below. Don’t forget to let me know your favourite shade(s) in the comments below!

Glow Like A Star – A light sunny yellow. This is a lovely halfway point between a classic spring pastel and a vibrant sunflower yellow. It only needed two coats which is great for this kind of polish. Purchase on Amazon HERE.
Put On Your Dancin’ Shoes – A bright orange-red. This polish has a jelly-polish type finish – high shine but a little bit transparent. After two coats you can still see a nail line. This doesn’t bother me too much, but if you wanted to avoid that, you could do a white undercoat. Purchase on Amazon HERE.
Tickle My Keys – A bright lilac-pink crème. Oh this is pretty. I often refer to this kind of shade as Pepto Bismol pink – it’s a slighty more purple toned bubblegum colour and I love it. Another two coater. Purchase on Amazon HERE.
It’s The Shades – A hot pink crème. In person this is a eye-catching neon pink polish, but neon colours are notoriously hard to photograph. Picture a grown-up version of a pink highlighter… and you have this shade. Perfect for the summer months. Two coats shown in these photos. Purchase on Amazon HERE.
Just Me & My Piano – A dark imperial purple crème. If you like the brightness of neon colours, but don’t feel like you can pull them off, this is the colour for you. It’s a bold, rich purple that feels very summery. This needed three coats to avoid streaks. Purchase on Amazon HERE.
Bedazzle Me – A cool toned glitter topcoat with lilac, pink, and blue holographic micro-, medium-, and macro-glitter. Top coats are often a bit wishy washy, needing a lot of careful placement in order to achieve a decent coverage. These photos show two thin coats to demonstrate that you can easily get a full glitter effect with little effort. One coat over any of the other shades in this range would be very pretty. Purchase it on Amazon HERE.
I am so impressed with the Morgan Taylor Rocketman range – there are some classic shades but also some that are unique to my collection. The formulas are easy to work with and last really well. Which is your favourite shade in the range? I struggle to pick, but I think Tickle My Keys or It’s The Shades may just swing it…
