I posted a Christmas nail art look last week and it seemed to go down very well, but a few people asked me if I could do something that was a bit less…kitschy Christmas. Something a little more grown up, more festive than Christmassy. Ask and you shall receive!
It feels like a lifetime ago that I started this blog to chronicle my love for manicures and nail art. I often think about changing my blog name so it reflects the wider topics I talk about now, but I think I’d be sad to let go of my nail blogger roots. So of course, I couldn’t let the festive season come and go without doing some Christmas nail art… I’m hoping to do a few looks but here is the first: Christmas baubles!
The women in my family never spend money on beauty. Shoes? Yes. Books? Oh yes. Alchohol? Good lord yes. Put my mum within 500 feet of a breton top and she can practically smell it. So when it comes to Christmas, I like to take advantage of my chance to gift them the types of products they would never buy themselves. You should all know by now that I’m a total Essie addict. They’re my favourite nail polishes by far: great colours, long-lasting and quick drying….what more could you need? I’ve been playing around with the new Essie Winter 2016 collection* and it’s pretty flipping Christmassy.
