Mirror Stickers: Fall In Love With Your Reflection

I am thrilled to introduce you to one of the newest additions to the Real Skin Club family: Mirror Stickers. These took a lot of planning behind the scenes as I just couldn’t find a company who could make them to my high standards without charging me an absolutely fortune. So I took a leap of faith, bought a machine, and taught myself how to make them! Every single mirror sticker is hand-designed, handmade, and hand-packed by me and I could not be prouder. Wondering what the hell mirror stickers even are? All the details are below…

'my skin does not define me' - skin positivity mirror stickers from Real Skin Club, to build confidence and improve self-love.

Skin Confidence And ‘Flaws’: Advice To Change Your Perspective

Over the past year I’ve noticed an increase in the amount of questions I get about confidence. The rise of the skin positivity movement and a growing acceptance (at least inside our communities) of different skin types and appearances is wonderful, but it leaves some people feeling anxious or left behind. People want to be skin positive, they would love to embrace their natural skin, but have no idea how to learn to accept the flaws that they’ve disliked for so long.

If you watched my recent Instagram Live with Bioderma, I touched on the topic of confidence a little and so you might recognise the themes below.

How to be more confident when you have 'flaws'. How to build esteem. I'm sharing my tips for self-confidence, sharing my story about living with rosacea. How to increase your confidence. #talontedlex #confidencetips #confidenceadvice #selfesteemtips

Good Person = Good Skin? The Morality Of Skin

I have been drafting a version of this blog post for a long time, but yesterday a post on Instagram sent me over the edge and showed me just how much this conversation is needed. There is an insidious belief in our society that good skin somehow represents being a good person, or good choices in life. Obviously, anyone with a brain can see that this is nonsense, but I wanted to talk about the moral halo surrounding skin for those who may be perpetuating this myth without thinking.

Why good skin doesn't make you a good person (and vice versa!) Skin positivity, body positivity, and why we need to be a little bit kinder. Skincare blogger and rosacea activity, Talonted Lex shares her thoughts on the bizarre belief that good deeds are rewarded with good skin. #talontedlex #goodskin #skinpositive #skinblogger #rosaceaadvice
