I meet a lot of bloggers just through going to events and spending so much time online. But it’s rare to find someone who you get on with as a person as well as having blogging in common. Mikhila is one of those people, so when she came down to London for 2 days I knew we had to do some filming together. And here’s the video: Introducing 3INA – the newest beauty brand on the block.
This month is Superdrug’s Health and Beauty Card’s 5th birthday and to celebrate they have put on some incredible offers for card holders. They challenged me to find the best deals to show you so here is my Superdrug Revlon haul!
The past few months have been a bit strange. I’ve been quite unadventurous with my make up and I failed spectacularly at reading anything that wasn’t Twitter or beauty blogs. I didn’t even do a monthly favourites post for March as I just felt so uninspired. So instead I decided to just pick the 3 stand out items that got me excited, rather than fleshing out a post with items I just thought were okay. Read on for the 3 things you need to know about…
I have loved Avène for a long time: they are a sensitive-skinned girl’s best friend so if you haven’t tried them out already, jump to it! I was invited to the launch of this exciting new product: Avène PhysioLift Anti Ageing skincare for sensitive skin*. If you have sensitive/rosacea prone skin like me, you will know the struggle to find skincare that really *works*, without aggravating your skin.
2015 marked the 30th anniversary of the iconic Color Riche range which resulted in the beautiful L’Oréal Paris Color Riche 30 Years Lipstick Collection. I bought these lipsticks in February (that must be a record) but completely forgot to blog about them *slaps wrist*.

There are lots of shades in the range but I picked these 5 as they stood out to me as the colours from which I would get the most wear over different seasons. The colours I chose, from left to right, were:
- 130 Androgyne (matte) – A pretty, chalky baby pink that looks amazing with a smokey eye.
- 132 Magnolia Irreverence (satin) – A striking fuchsia pink with a blue base.
- 134 Rose Royale (satin) – A slightly softer, but still very eye-catching, pink.
- 229 Cliché Mania (matte) – A true orange lipstick that I was nervous to wear but looks beautiful on, especially in the summer.
- 430 Mon Jules (matte) – A dark berry red that has really come into its own now the weather is colder.
I am incredibly lazy with my hair. I thought that when I cut it into a bob I would be inspired to blow dry it, style it… do *anything* with it. But no: I rough-dry it, straighten my fringe and leave the rest to fend for itself.
With this in mind, the concept of blow dry bars is music to my ears. They’ve been around in the US for ages and they’re finally getting bigger over here, much to my joy. The concept is simple: you pop in, have your hair washed and styled and you’re good to go. Such a great idea if you have a night out or busy weekend or just want to treat yourself.
November! Unbelievable! This month has been a very busy and stressful one with work, so my blogging has taken a bit of a back seat but you’ll be happy to hear that I’ve still been keeping track of my favourite beauty and lifestyle products this month.
I’ve been testing quite a lot of skincare recently. In August I tried the B. Skincare range, and before that I was testing out Burt’s Bees Sensitive Skin Range. Every time I try a new skincare routine I have The Fear that it is going to make my rosacea flare up and leave me with raw, angry, bright red skin. However, I’ve been really lucky to try so many great ranges, and this Sukin skincare is another to add to the list.
