This edition of my Friday Faves comes all the way from the south of France. I’m visiting my parents for just under three weeks and I am absolutely loving it. I’m getting lots of work done, I have spare time to read which is lovely, I’m sleeping better, my rosacea is calmer … please don’t make me come home!

I’ve been listening to the Reply All podcast obsessively and I think you’ll love it. It covers so many different stories all to do with the internet and it’s brilliant. I would recommend starting from episode 1 and working forward. Then come find me on twitter so we can chat about it!
Speaking about podcasts, some of you might remember me recommending the wonderful Made Online podcast a few weeks ago … well this week’s episode includes yours truly! The lovely Hayley invited me on to talk about my rosacea, how blogging has changed my life, not only with regards to my career but also meeting my husband on twitter. It was so fun to record!
In my last Friday Faves I mentioned ‘The Power’ by Naomi Alderman and I finally finished it on the plane. I am so sad that it’s over as I loved it so much and have been recommending it to everyone, so obviously it had to feature here. I’ve just started ‘Lorali’ by Laura Dockrill, which I am trying to like as I think the premise is great but it’s written in a way that is grating on me at the moment… we’ll see how I get on as I get further in!
I brought about 10 lip products with me to France but so far the only one I’ve worn is the Sephora Cream Lip Stain in ’09 Watermelon Slice’. It’s such a wearable and pretty coral and so comfortable and long-lasting that I can throw it on and forget about it for the day.
This Spotify playlist has been the perfect soundtrack to my holiday so far: my dad has been listening to Motown for as long as I can remember, so I think this music is in my blood. It’s just so fun to sing along to, to dance to, and to just take in. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
And my final entry in this week’s Friday Faves has to be THIS GUY… Monty lives with my parents in France and has such a chilled life. I want to be him. It’s been really warm here so we took him to the river and he laid down in it and just hung out there like it was the most normal thing in the world! Isn’t he handsome?

I’ve been using these lately and really liking the effect on my rosacea. It’s not gone but my face feels and looks less bumpy, and my redness is reduced. Niacinimide and green tea seem to be key. Hope these may help you too. Thanks as always for your faves
